brain blurt

i resolved over the holidays to keep my posts personal and leave work at work to fully recharge my batteries.  now - back to it - fully charged and ready to take on january - may.

all this discipline to rest my mind has created a touch of blogger’s backup.  so - here is my brain blurt to bust through the build-up.  (that alliteration was so unintentional - ha ha).

  1. imagine christmas.  over 15oo people came, 26 decided that they couldn’t imagine their lives without god in it.  and all i can say is i am unbelievably, indescribably humbled. god is faithful.  and the fact that god has placed me in the midst of such amazing people to serve with is one of the greatest honors of my life.  i know, sounds mellow dramatic - but i mean it.  brad over at lifepoint said he felt bad calling what he is about to do a job.  i can so relate. (congrats  brad)
  2. got to work on some new artwork today for our new series, dream on, and our new small group catalog.  it all had to be done fast, so it was pretty down and dirty - - but still, it’s good to flex those artsy muscles after 3 months of solving mind-bending, mcguiver-esque technology riddles.  (which, was way fun, too - looking forward to pushing my techno-limits again in may for the gafa production.  i love buttons.)
  3. pb did an awesome video this week for dream on - i’ll post it next week.
  4. i learned over the past 3 months, that my job is best accomplished by leading rather than doing.  that has been quite a revelation for me.  i knew it before - - but i think i’m starting to i get it.  must - not - forget… lead - - first.
  5. i’ve been observing a lot about the blogging community lately and how it relates to our ministry and our relationships.  blogging is such a unique and amazing tool.  i am completely addicted.  i hope to post more about this later.
  6. i learned in a quick moment what can happen as a result of a very short, very unspiritual (but not irreverent) prayer that is birthed out of a passionate heart. it was immediate. and i got it instantly as god reverberated in my spirit - - yes, that’s how!  one of those lessons i couldn’t forget if i tried.
  7. ok - lest you go away…   nashville and c3  in february, unleash and easter in MARCH! [gasp]; gafa production in may -  - here we go!!!  i can’t wait.
  8. my husband sizzles every fiber of my life - i love you honey!
  9. my son melts my heart
  10. ya’ll all warm my spirit.  thank you for reading and commenting.

let’s make it great ya’ll!  happy new year!!!!!
