<description>I agree that the "slow boat to skinny" is the best path. You have to make choices that become habits that you can maintain. About a year ago, I made some tough choices about what I'm eating. I dropped about 10 pounds within the first couple of months and I've been able to maintain the weight loss. Congrats on your progress thus far!

<description>Oh, I forgot to say this... You may find that much to your pleasant surprise, that your slow boat to skinny won't be a slow as you thought. I started doing exactly what you're doing at a size 10/12 in March 07' and was in a 2/4 by Sept. That actually wasn't my goal. But I got so used to eating healthy alternatives and exercise had become a habit, my goal flew on by me. Then I was like, how do I push the stop button on this thing? I actually had to level my weight loss off by FORCING myself to drink more Starbucks (non-skinny, full fat!.....ugh!) to put some meat back on my bones....or at least keep what was left on.

Yeah, I know, it just KILLED me to HAVE to drink all that Starbucks and eat Krispy Kreme here and there.........NOT!!! :)...ok. I'll shut up now.

<description>OK. What you are doing and the way you're doing it will soooooo work. Take it from one who's done it. Last year, 6 months after having Jackson, I was tired of being slightly chubby and was gonna stop complaining and do something about it. So I signed up and did Weight Watchers Online for 3 months and then just continued it on my own for the other 2. It basically teaches you to change your thinking about food to exactly what you are saying here. Not to force you to eat things you wouldn't normally eat, but to simply find healthier alternatives of things you already eat. And like you, I was shocked to find out what I was putting in my body on a regular basis was adding up to. Thus explaining my ever expanding rear and thighs....lol.

I'm impressed! IT CANNOT be about a diet or you will fall off the wagon and give up. But if it's simply a lifestyle change, you WILL succeed!!....oh, and don't forget the exercise, which it sounds like you're already doing. That was key also.

LOL....I feel like a weight loss and healthy lifestyle campainer now that I've experienced the bliss of feeling "unfat" for the the first time, well, in my life. I wish you the best of luck with it. Love &#60;3
