The coolest thing I did so far this week was as we were leaving Duke Medical Center yesterday. It was so cold, raining and I had not had a good week. As I stood in the cold waiting for my hubby to pick me up, I held the door open for a man bringing his wife out in a wheelchair. He was also juggling a walker because she had a cast on her leg and foot. I watched him help her into a really old car. They looked so sad. I heard, "Go give them $20." Of course, I thought, "they might be offended..." Just as he was was getting in to drive away, I approached him and said, "The Lord impressed me to give this to you." He gratefully received my rolled up money and tearfully said that his wife had just been in a terrible accident. He was so thankful. How cool that my day ended that way!
