we were handing out food near an overpass when this young lady saw us, recognized the red dream center shirts, and walked down the block and right up to us. we asked her if she would like breakfast. she said no... she wanted prayer. so we prayed for her. she knew what she needed most from us. this is one of my favorite shots so far. i took it completely blind. i held my iphone over my head and took the shot. i never even looked at it afterward because i assumed it wouldn't come out.
