the best of today…

picture of the day: (cam at volleyball camp…. just few years and he’ll be ready to hit the sand!  check out that form!)
volleyball camp

quote of the day: “now is a good time to load up on liver.” -lisa (in response to nothing even remotely related to liver)

brilliant unintentional solution of the day: if you have a persistent sound problem in your sanctuary… try moving your chairs around a bit. seriously.

best cameron moment of the day: “it’s not your fault, mom. it’s my responsibility to make sure i have everything i need for volleyball camp.” (i am sooooo going to miss his 2nd grade teacher who taught him this concept so convincingly).

best thing i learned todayfellowship one, fellowship one, fellowship one!!!!   [b-bye, acs!]

best work moment today: it’s a tie…. between creative meeting (i love, love, love our weekly creative meetings) and the cool, cool lights i programed for our baptism service on sunday.

thing i’m most thankful for today:  time with my honey before he starts next semester in school.

best twitter banter of the day (@inworship/@inprogress):

@brent - oh, i know. i’m a professional flip flopper. it’s definitely the flops. but if you don’t fix it it becomes your feet. then you have a problem. here’s my formula for successful maintenance of stinkless flops…

1. buy 3 pair and rotate.
2. never skip a day washing your feet (esp. in the summer)
3. dial antibacterial soap works best.
4. i like leather flops. they don’t get slimy but you can still wash them without soaking up the soap which makes them permanently slimy(not much worse than slimy skids).
5. if a pair gets bad throw them out - fast.

so there you go. professional advice from a southern year round flopper. more than you ever wanted to know about me, i’m sure. ;)

you’re welcome.

it works…. really.

Nice. I need to try washing mine. They are “fake” leather so they should stand up to it. I do wash the feet everyday. but the 3 in rotation sounds pretty good.

I’ll have to work on that!

Hi Carolyn,

I just started working for Fellowship Tech as their Church Infrastructure guy and have found everyone here so loving of the local church. I really am glad that you are enjoying F1 and if there is anything that I can ever do to help let me know.

God Bless!!
